Seminar ini disponsori oleh Catholic Charity Keuskupan Atlanta, terbuka bagi semua pemimpin / umat / pemuka masyarakat immigran (terutama yang katolik) yang bersedia untuk menjadi pelopor pelayanan imigrasi pada waktu undang-undang ke immigrasi an yang baru dikeluarkan.

Acara akan meliputi:

- pembahasan undang-undang SB529 yang menyangkut kaum immigran di Georgia yang akan di berlakukan 1 Juli 2007.

- Sumber informasi bagi kaum immigrant

- Persiapan Praktis dalam menghadapi perubahan ke immigrasi an

Dear Indonesian Community members,

It is with utmost respect that I write to invite you to participate in an upcoming Justice for Immigrants event titled Travelers Together: One Creator, One Family, One Journey,

to be held at Holy Cross Church on April 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

This event is designed to include leaders across all immigrant communities in Archdiocesan parishes to help Archdiocesan organizers create a network of contact people in order to address the needs and desires of immigrant communities in every parish. After further preparation, these individuals will be able to link their parish immigrant communities with resources and information and provide a two – way channel for information and advocacy.

I would greatly appreciate your support of this workshop by encouraging dependable

and influential individuals of our parish immigrant communities to attend with you.

Due to space limitations, we must focus on inviting leaders who will serve as potential

liaisons from the parish level to the Archdiocesan level.

This is not an event in which to bring large groups from each parish.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FORUM OR A LEGAL CLINIC FOR

INDIVIDUAL IMMIGRATION ISSUES.

We are working to provide simultaneous translation in a few languages, such as

Spanish and Vietnamese.

It is our expectation that people who attend will leave this event with a better

understanding of the challenges that all immigrant communities face, a further

awareness of the teaching of the church and the archbishop concerning immigration

issues, a sense of hope and support, and resources in order to address the complex

situation in North Georgia.

After the April 13 meeting, we expect there will be a follow up training for

individuals who are called to this effort. If you have any questions please feel free
